Will Seacrest Bring in the New Year right?

The late, great Dick Clark may be best known for his annual special “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” Now the young man he mentored in host, producer and entrepreneur, Ryan Seacrest, will be flying solo this year. Clark, who had a reduced role in the annual event over the last few years, passed away this spring. So this will be Seacrest’s first time counting down to midnight all on his own. But the “American Idol” star says he can handle it.

I have watched the show for more years than I can count and he always has a great show with Ryan. I would of loved to of had the chance to meet Dick Clark. And I believe Ryan as learned from the best.

That’s not to say Seacrest won’t have any help that night. Joining him during the show will be Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and actress Jenny McCarthy. “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” also boasts major musical acts set to perform including Pitbull, Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift, OneRepublic, Karmin, Neon Trees, Brandy and Flo Rida.

“New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” doesn’t end at midnight though. The show will help viewers kick off 2013 and be on the air for an additional two hours, after the famous ball drops in Times Square. Whatever challenge presents itself on December 31, Seacrest seems to be more than up for it. So i want to know what you think: Will Seacrest bring in 2013 right? I think he had a great mentor
