Two people accused of trafficking heroin in Iredell County
IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A tip from a resident led officers to arrest two people accused of trafficking heroin in Iredell County.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office's Narcotics Unit began surveilling Kenneth Eugene Jordan, II, after receiving information from a concerned citizen.
Jordan sold heroin in various amounts over the course of a few weeks, the Sheriff’s Office says.
Last Friday, narcotics officers pulled Jordan over, and both he and the vehicle’s other occupant, Tabitha Sue Sprinke, were arrested.
Jordan is charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule I heroin , three felony counts of sell and deliver Schedule I heroin, one count of felony possession of cocaine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $150,000.
Sprinke is charged with one count of felony possession of Schedule I heroin, one count of felony possession of Schedule II cocaine and two counts of felony maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for use, storage or sale of controlled substances. Sprinkle’s bond was set at $5000.
