The Fudgery at Harbor Place Maryland
On my trip to Maryland I went down to the Harbor Place Mall and Fudgery.
As I was walking through the mall I saw the Fudgery located inside the Harbor Place Mall. So I walked over and was greeted by a confectioner and master chocolatier. He offered me a sample of this chocolate gold and I was hooked. Now I have never been here before and I was just excited to get some freshly made fudge. I was watching a very talented confectionery chef making and folding on a marble slab not more than 10 feet away from me with shiny copper kettle pots in the background.
“They’re famous for fudging show tunes and coaxing smiles”:
This is when I found out their real secret talents, they started singing in harmony and I could barely pull my phone out fast enough to catch this entertaining show. Please click here for the video. I may be the only person who is not aware that this happens at the Fudgery. That is why I am writing about my experience today, so hopefully you will have the same chance to find one of their locations and taste this experience for yourself. I definitely, and without any hesitation can recommend the Fudgery located inside the Harbor Place Mall.
Great fudge since 1980 and on their website:
Interactive retail is how Marshall describes his nutty concept, but what that really means is FUN. More than anything else, that has been the secret ingredient in his recipe for success; that and a first rate fudge. “Never underestimate the value of having a good product,” Marshall cautioned. “There are no shortcuts, and we use only the very best ingredients: pure vanilla, the purest chocolate and a time tested process. I truly believe we provide as good a fudge as can be found anywhere on the planet.”
As for the entertainment, well, it may be off-Broadway, really off, but it consistently receives rave reviews. The employees who stir, turn and fold the fudge into a long loaf do more than whistle while they work. They’re famous for fudging show tunes and coaxing smiles. Some have even made the big break from Fudgery to stardom.
