Well, we all know that the HarBowl is going to be cool. And it’s going to be the overriding storyline for the next two weeks. It, obviously will be the first time that two brothers are coaching against each other in the Super Bowl. We’ve all been waiting for the Peyton vs. Eli Super Bowl. Still waiting. This John vs. Jim one snuck up on us. And it’s great.
I’m not sure the Conference Championship Games will be able to match the Divisional Playoffs in terms of excitement. Talk about those games last week! WOW!! Broncos-Ravens was an instant classic, then there was Colin Kaepernick proving why Jim Harbaugh made the right decision. And that was just Saturday! Then on Sunday wee got those two ridiculous comebacks in Atlanta
Among the things I received for Christmas this year was the new Sports Illustrated book “Football’s Greatest.” It had a bunch of Top 10 lists ranking all kids of football-related things, from the best uniforms and games to coaches and rivalries. The book also featured the panel’s Top 10 list of all-time bests at each position. Along with the obvious Hall of Famers, there were a bunch of active players included as well.
