Super Saturday Hampton’s 2013
Super Saturday returns to The Hampton’s this year July 27, 2013!
New York, Hampton’s- Hosted by Donna Karan, InStyle, and Kelly Ripa, and generously sponsored by QVC, Super Saturday is a day-long summer fundraising event for the entire family.
Activities include a one-of-a-kind designer garage sale with over 200 fabulous designers, a kids carnival with rides, games and fun, a fabulous raffle, fortune tellers, manicures and more. Shoppers can also bid on exciting packages from some of our event participants through an online auction hosted by charitybuzz.
Donna Karan, Kelly Ripa and a host of celebrities will be out in force this weekend at Water Mill’s 16th annual Super Saturday, a glitzy garage sale of sorts and arguably the summer’s hottest charitable event in the Hamptons, benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
If you have time this weekend, it’s quite a scene and helps fight cancer. Tanned actors and Wall Street types jockey for space with fashionistas and bargain hunters at rows and rows of tables and tents, all brimming with significantly discounted gear from more than 200 designer brands.
Donna Karan dreamed up the benefit in 1998 with her friend Liz Tilberis, the popular editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar, who died of the disease a year later.
This year’s haul comes from Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Etro, Theory, Alice + Olivia and many others.
You’ll also find psychics, manicures, games and carnival rides for kids — or stroll into the Moroccanoil Oasis Express Spa & Styling Bar for a massage or up-do. Or both.
“The money raised here saves lives,” Ripa (who has co-hosted the event for many years) once said. “And that’s why your husband can’t give you a hard time if you spend money here. Are you listening to me, husband?”
You can go this Saturday, July 27, 1 to 6 p.m. (special preview hour at noon); Nova’s Ark Project, 60 Millstone Rd., Water Mill.

If the ticket price — starting at $450 for adults — is a tad steep, or you can’t endure the bumper-to-bumper ride on Route 27, there are other ways to take part in Super Saturday.
