Jay Z and Kanye announced separate tours

Jay Z and Kanye West, two of hip-hop’s biggest stars, have announced separate tours on Friday. They have calibrated in the past, but now touring separately Jay Z and Kanye tickets will be on sale soon.

Jay Z’s 34-date “Magna Carter World Tour: North America” kicks off Nov. 30 in St. Paul, MN, and hits the metro area in January with two shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (Jan. 12 and 13) and one each at Nassau Coliseum (Jan. 19) and New Jersey’s Prudential Center (Jan. 22). Tickets go on sale Thursday Thursday at 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, West’s 23-date “Yeezus Tour,” his first solo gigs in five years, commences Oct. 19 in Seattle and comes to Madison Square Garden on Nov. 23. Kendrick Lamar will be ‘Ye’s opening act for most of the shows. Tickets go on sale next Friday to see Kanye.
