Comment issues Antispam Bee on Jet Pack

There are some well know jet pack problems or bugs for the Jet Pack plug in by Word Press that they are already aware of.  One of them that I found was the Antispam Bee for WordPress.  He draws an error on commenting and does not allow the comment to go through.  An internal certificate error would pop up.  Here are a few more bugs that are being repaired.  Jetpack is an amazing plug in and worth the time to experiment with.

  • W3 Total Cache plug in: There are known issues with the Minify engine in W3 Total Cache and many other plugins, including Jetpack. For now, you will need to turn off the Minify engine in W3TC to get Jetpack fully functional.
  • Simple Facebook Connect: Jetpack’s Contact Form module currently is not working correctly with Simple Facebook Connect or other plugins that call the ‘the_content’ filter in several places. This is a known bug we are working on fixing.
  • BuddyPress: During the Jetpack connection process, BuddyPress may redirect you to your homepage instead of through the appropriate pages necessary to create a connection. Disable BuddyPress before connecting Jetpack.
  • Antispam Bee: It’s currently not possible to use Jetpack’s Comment module if you have previously activated the Antispam Bee plugin. You will have to disable this plugin if you want to use Jetpack Comments.
  • Spam Free WordPress: The Spam Free WordPress plugin is currently not compatible with Jetpack Comments.
  • Bad Behavior: You may run into issues when submitting comments when both “Bad Behavior” and Jetpack Comments are active.
  • Events Manager: You currently cannot use Jetpack Tiled Galleries when the Events Manager plugin is active on your site.
  • Cleaner Gallery / Hybrid themes: If you use the Cleaner Gallery plugin or a theme including this functionality, you won’t able to use the Carousel features on your site.
  • ComicPress: The ComicPress theme is not compatible with Jetpack’s Mobile theme. Comics published via ComicPress cannot be accessed from the Mobile Theme.
  • CloudFlare: CloudFlare is currently not compatible with Jetpack Likes. Like buttons won’t load until you disable CloudFlare.
  • Google Pagespeed: Google Pagespeed may cause several issues with Jetpack Comments, Likes, and other Jetpack modules.
  • Various Themes: There are various themes available that hide the Jetpack connection window. If you install Jetpack and do not see a connection button, try changing your theme to the default WordPress theme before connecting Jetpack.

Once I removed the anitspam bee pluging, which did an alright job.  I mean at first I thought it was helping but it let allot of trackback and comment spam in.  It did stop I would say 70%.  I switched to Akismet and I will have a write up shortly.  As for removing the anitspam bee, I instantly resolved by commenting issue on JetPack commenting.  I hope this article helps someone.
