Closing of Ronkonkoma Avenue

Local update for icy road conditions have forced the closing of Ronkonkoma Avenue in both directions from Express Drive South to Marion Street in Ronkonkoma late Monday night as per the Suffolk police department.

Sanders and plows were dispatched to clear the roadway, police said, but no time frame was given as to when Ronkonkoma Avenue would reopen.

Authorities urged motorists to use alternative routes. And remember to stay save and drive slow.
