Are you ready for summer?

Someone had asked me the other day if I was ready for summer?  The answer is both yes and no.  And that’s not just because when there are a few warm days outside some of the ladies start dressing to impress.

It’s because wait, well who am I kidding.  This is partly the reason.  Nah, just kidding.  The other reason is all of the holidays are over and the Capricorn birthdays.  So lets keep it moving already, I want to fish in the warm water and hit the beach.   And as a matter of fact, Lake Ronkonkoma never even got cold enough to freeze over this year in order to attempt some ice fishing or to drive across it with your car.  Do I need to state the obvious here (please do not drive on frozen lakes).  It hasn’t even been cold enough on Long Island for many years in order for lakes and ponds to freeze over.

But seriously …. Tell me, are you ready for summer or would you rather see a few more months of winter?  And defend your answer. We all want to hear why.
