Alzheimer’s Association unveiled myalzspot.com

The Alzheimer’s Association, a not-for-profit research and support organization, has unveiled myalzspot.com, a website that can help families find services, products and resources to help ease the burden of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementia. The site also features a “Memories Wall,” a Facebook-like social platform where families can share news, stories and photos with other caregivers.

It is good to be able to speak and interact with other people going through the same experience as you. Perhaps you can trade tips and helpful advice. You never know this could happen to you or someone you know.

We need to remember to respect our elders, because on day you will want the respect. Let’s hope some real change can come from this adventure. We are supporting the theory.

The Chicago-based Alzheimer’s Association has numerous local chapters, visit there website for locations and more information.
