Some of the other animals on site are cattle, horses, sheep, goats, deer, elk, giraffes, rhinos, pigs, camels, llamas, kangaroos, birds, quail, pheasants, ducks, horses, swans, porcupines, tortoises and a few peacocks that walk around as well. Please Do Not forget the Emu that greats you as you drive in or the jackass at the front door. I mean the Donkey of course folks! The staff is amazingly friendly and so full of love for the animals it is delightful.

The Environment Ministry has urged residents to take preventive measures to deal with the ash, including wearing dust masks, covering water supplies and staying indoors as needed.

Mexico City authorities recommend that people sweep up any ash and put it plastic bags to keep it from mixing with water and forming a concrete-like substance that can block drains.

There you have it. A total of 20 conferences were affected by this summer’s round of realignment, including the creation of a new conference and the disbanding of another. Of course, some big ones are on the horizon again next summer, with Rutgers and Maryland joining the Big Ten, Louisville going to the ACC, and the American adding a few more from Conference USA. So, don’t get used to the current conference landscape just yet. It might take the whole year to straighten things out, anyway.

There you have it. My Mount Rushmore consists of the greatest player from each of the four great eras in Giants history. Of all the great players in franchise history, Mel Hein, Frank Gifford, Lawrence Taylor and Eli Manning stand out as the best–and the most deserving of the honor.

Named tigers because of their black and white stripes, they were initially spotted on Long Island 10 years ago. According to Mary Ellen Laurain, spokeswoman for the Nassau County Department of Health, the Asian tiger was first identified in the county through routine surveillance activities in 2003. In Suffolk, the first showed up in a mosquito trap put out by the county in 2004, Campbell said. They have been moving and have now spread into Brookhaven Town, with a few spotted on the South Fork, he said.

More to the Story of the Biogenesis Scandal-There’s still going to be a lot more that comes out from the Biogenesis scandal. I’m having trouble deciding where I come down on this, too. If the players mentioned actually did everything they supposedly did, suspensions are more than warranted. But there’s so much more to the story. I suspect we don’t even know the half of it.

Gordon Gee “retired” as President of Ohio State today. I put “retired” in quotes intentionally. Because I’m not really sure how much choice he had in the matter. The way I see it, you can call it anything you want. The bottom line remains the same though. Gordon Gee had to go and everyone knew it. So whether it was completely his decision or he was in fact forced out (which is what I suspect), Ohio State did the right thing. Something that Rutgers can learn from.
