Gonzaga has ascended to No. 1.  It’s incredible to see the Zags at the top of the rankings.  Especially since I’m not sure they even get a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.  It’s been a crazy season in college basketball, with top teams falling every week (often right after they become No. 1).  The NCAA Tournament is going to be crazy.  It’s so wide open that it’s difficult to predict even what you think might happen.

With all the ups and downs of each team, it’s also impossible to predict who’s going to be seeded where.  The conference tournaments are going to be very telling this year.  Seedings and bids are going to be up for grabs.  With those tournaments beginning this week in the mid-majors, I figured it might be time to do a little Joe Brackets-ology.
